Wall art
The tradition to decorate the walls appeared in ancient Egypt: the palaces of the pharaohs, filled with various excesses, were decorated with wooden panels, and were one of the proofs of countless riches. Much later, in the 16th century AD, carved decorations moved to the palaces of the French kings, and then to the houses of noble citizens. The aesthetic function was supplemented with a practical one - the wood was an excellent insulating material, and protected the room from annoying drafts and ears.
Nowadays, wall panels have become a self-sufficient piece of furniture, a new art form that can replace traditional paintings and murals. A variety of materials has also become a good help for the most brave design experiments.
The P series of panels designed by Svyatoslav Zbroy is a fresh look at the decorative element, where the emphasis is on modularity and an unlimited number of patterns. Visually light, thin and durable at the same time - the P panels do not overload the interior, but add attractiveness to it.
The series consists of three types of panels, which are separate modules:
- the P1 panel resembles a sheet of origami paper, the edges of which are slightly bent and are about to turn into a bird's wing or flower petal;
- the P2 panel is a simple and time-tested form with which you can create the most daedal pattern;
- the P3 panel fascinates with hypnotic patterns, which appear due to fractures on the metal plane.
Each slight rotation of the panel is a way to create drawings, allusions. Each additional panel on the wall is a new opportunity for creativity. A combination of panels of different colors can create a real masterpiece worthy of auction houses.
Everyone can join the world of art with a series of P panels.
